The Ross on Wye mixed team secured a great 3-1 win against Hallow D at home on Friday evening.

Teaming up as our first pair were Charlie Bowden and Manda Kiernan, who won their first match after a long and hard third set tie-breaker battle. The second match was a more comfortable win for Charlie and Manda winning 6-0, 6-2.

Wendy Badham and James Mason took up position as our second pair giving a great battle to win their first match against Hallow. During the second match, Wendy and James played very well, making the team from Hallow work for every point, but they eventually lost resulting in a 3-1 home win for Ross to end the night.

Excellent and very competitive tennis played by all!
