On the sunny, hot afternoon of Thursday 14th August, the atmosphere at Ross Tennis Centre was lively, with the gentle thwack of tennis balls echoing across the courts whilst everyone awaited the arrival of Sandi Procter, the LTA President.  She was accompanied by Tina Manning and Ady Bates from Herefordshire and Worcestershire Tennis.  Some club members were lucky to meet with Sandi and discussions with some of the committee members, June Savidge, Paula Hartley, Tricia Walker and Shaun Cavanagh included pickleball, website issues, walking tennis, fund raising and member recruitment. Sandi also had the opportunity to meet with Steve Barnett and Craig Cook, our coaches.
