On Saturday 14th June, we held our 'Raise the Roof' fundraising event to contribute to replacing the roof of the pavilion. It was a great success with over £1400 raised.  Club members entered a doubles tournament and the winners were Dan Horrocks and Liese Brady and runners up Gaynor Raine and Jamie Farr. 

There was a barbecue with tasty burgers and sausages, cakes, a bouncy castle, fruit and veg sale, sports clothes, raffle and tombola.  It was a sunny yet windy day which presented its challenges but members and non members had a great time.

Thanks go to Tony and Charlie Bowden who organised the event and to all committee members and members who helped leading up to and on the day and of course to all the local businesses who donated goods and raffle prizes.
