Ryde Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club

Ryde Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club provides excellent year-round facilities for all levels of tennis and croquet.

Tennis is played all year round on our six all-weather astroturf tennis courts, five of which are floodlit, and from April to November on our two grass tennis courts. Croquet is played from April to November on our four full size croquet lawns and during the winter months - weather conditions permitting. We have a full programme of social and competitive activities for all ages and abilities, such as Open and Club Tournaments for both sports. There is a year-round program of coaching for adults and juniors, group and individual, and we enter teams in island and mainland leagues. As the largest club on the island, we host the annual Isle of Wight junior and senior tennis championships.

The club has its own car park and clubhouse with facilities including changing rooms with toilets and showers, a fully equipped kitchen and a clubroom with a bar. Thanks to a grant of Lottery funds by Sport England the clubhouse has been extended and extensively modernised in recent years.

We  welcome new members of all ages and abilities with a range of annual membership packages available. Non-members are welcome to use the club facilities, subject to availability, on payment of the appropriate guest or non-member fees. Tennis courts may be booked by non-members through Clubspark subject to availability and payment of the appropriate court booking fee.
