ABOUT THE CLUB

We are LTA affiliated, run by and for our members, providing social and competitive tennis to players of all ages and abilities, with a range of membership packages available.

Whether you are new to the game or looking to improve your tennis, we offer private coaching across the year.  If you want to play more competitive tennis there is an annual Club Tournament for Singles, Doubles and Mixed and if you want to play for the Club we have four teams that play in the Brighton & Hove Parks league, offering friendly competitive matches on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evening from April to August.

We have 4 hard tennis courts and a shared clubhouse (with the Bowls club) that includes a kitchen, changing room and toilet facilities.

Above all, our aim is to provide affordable tennis for all. Our subscription rates are very reasonable, and we provide free balls for club nights, free refreshments and subsidise social events.  Potential new members may use the club up to three times before committing themselves.

VENUE NAME: Saltdean Tennis Community Amateur Sports Company

WHO WE ARE AND WHAT IS A CASC?

A Community Amateur Sports Company (CASC) is a not for profit organisation that is set up to safeguard and support local sports facilities. Saltdean Tennis Club have set up a CASC as all profits must go back into the sports facility and you can claim gift aid against donations.

The Directors are all members and players of Saltdean Tennis Club and have all run their own successful businesses previously. The aim is to build a sinking fund each year to raise enough funds to resurface the tennis courts as and when needed and other maintenance around the courts.

The Directors are:

Andrew Hampton

Brian Page

All the directors are long standing members of the tennis club, live in Saltdean and Rottingdean and each have experience of running their own business.
