Saltford Lawn Tennis Club

Saltford Lawn Tennis Club is a friendly, local club at the heart of the community in Saltford. We were delighted to be awarded the LTA Club of the Year for Avon County for 2022 for being fun, affordable and accessible.

The club has three painted macadam all-weather courts with overhead lights allowing extended play throughout winter months. Lights are free for club nights. 

We welcome players of all standards and ages, from minis and juniors just starting out to senior competition level. 

League play - The club has mens, ladies and mixed teams into The Avon County league in Summer, late Summer and Winter.  Any club player has the opportunity to play through the club to find their own level of competition. 

Court opening times for members  
Courts are available for play from 9am to 9:30pm every day.  Courts need to be booked online and you will receive a confirmation  email with a 4 digit pin code to access the new smart access gate which is at the back of the courts on the corner between the car park and the clubhouse. The pin will remain valid for a short time before and after your booking finishes. The smart gate will also activate the floodlights if playing at night and they will switch on just before your booking starts so they are warmed up and go off just 5 minutes after your booking finishes. There is an additional charge for floodlights of £5 per hour which is paid when the booking is main either on the website of the app.
Members can access the clubhouse using the code provided which is not to be shared with non members.

Club play is Tuesday and Thursday evening (mixed) from 6.00pm. and Monday morning from 9.00am.(ladies).  These are the main play sessions.  There is also play on Monday and Thursday afternoon from 1pm (mixed). 

Court hire and non members - we welcome non-members booking our courts during all public sessions (available every day from 9am until 9:30pm). Book online or through the Clubspark Booker app which can be downloaded onto your smart phone. After we have received your payment online you will receive a confirmation email which provides a 4 digit pin for the smart access gate. The cost is £6 per hour or £11 an hour if playing with floodlights. This is paid online before your confirmation email is sent.
