At Sandal Tennis Club, we have plentiful competitive opportunities for a wide variety of players. Take a look at the competitions we offer and are involved in:

Inter-club Competitions:

Mixed Wakefield and District League - We have 2 teams in this league.

Men's Leeds League - We have 3 teams, The 1st Team is currently in Division 2,  the 2nd Team is in Division 4 and the newly formed 3rd team is in division 6.

Ladies Leeds League - This newly formed team got off to a flying start topping their division and gaining promotion to Division 3.

Huddersfield league - 2024 is our first year in this league, we are in division 3.

Would you like to play with other members of your level, doubles or singles?

• Every two weeks we arrange a fun match for you.
• You choose on which days you like to play.
• Your initial ranking will be based on you play level.
• You swap positions if you win a match with a higher ranked player.
• Doubles are played with a fixed partner, only the captain needs to register.

Mini Tennis Tournaments - Hosted by Head Coach Danny for those that play at the club and in the nearby area, giving them a friendly introduction to competitive tennis.

Annual Adult and Junior Club Championships - A range of competitions, incorporating singles, doubles, mixed doubles, Vets.  In 2023 this was organsied as a series of round robin competitions with the top two from each group category then moving to a knockout competition.  Allowing all those that want to challenge themselves the chance for several competative matches. The competitions resulted in a coming together for a final's day to showcase the best players in the club complemented by other members of the club who watch the matches, support the players and enjoy some food and drink. - Look out in the club house for further information for 2024.  Entries for the club competitions start around April / May.
