Club Finals Day

Finals Day 15th JULY

Our annual Summer Club Championships was staged (despite the dreadful weater forecast) on Saturday 15th July 2023, and it proved to be a resounding success, with huge thanks to the event organiser Matt Bellingham , and the tireless work from comittee members and vounteers, preparing the facilities, and excellent catering (including hot food, Pimms and strawberries.)

A comprehensive programme of Finals Events was played out to a near capacity audience and the results of deserving champions and plucky runner-ups can be found below the photos

  2. MATCHES TO SEE A CHAMPIONSHIP TIE BREAK AT ONE SET ALL IN ALL EVENTS (OTHER THAN OPEN SINGLES) INCLUDING QUALIFICATION ROUNDS AND FINALS.
  3. MATCHES MUST BE COMPLETED AHEAD OF ALLOCATED DATE.
  4. IT IS THE PLAYER AT TOP OF DRAW RESPONSIBILITY TO ARRANGE THE FIXTURE. FAILURE TO OFFER DATES AHEAD OF DEADLINE CAN RESULT IN OPPONENT CLAIMING FIXURE.
  5. ENTRANTS MUST MEET STIPULATED AGE CRITERIAS. OPEN EVENTS ARE OPEN TO ADULTS AND PROMOTED JUNIORS ONLY.
  6. ONLY EVENTS WITH OVER 8 ENTRANTS/PAIRS WILL HAVE PLATE COMPETITIONS ALONGSIDE.
  7. PAYMENT (£4 PER EVENT PER PERSON) MUST BE RECEIVED AHEAD OF MAY 10TH IN ORDER TO REMAIN IN COMPETITION.
