Watch out on how to vote for some awards for your fellow members. This will be a free event. Dan and Mel will do Pizza's at £10 if you would like at Pizza or two. They are highly recommended.

OCTOBER 14-21: Tennis Holiday, Antalya Turkey

A week in the sun at a 5* resort with tennis, socialising and relaxing in equal measures.

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 23: Race Night 7pm start tbc in the bar

SEPTEMBER 2-3rd: Handicap weekend

Always a big success. Fun tennis (singles, mixed doubles and doubles played under a handicap system to give everyone a chance) with BBQ, home made cakes, speed gun and ball machine. £7 per event or £20 for all 3. Singles 9.45am for 10 Saturday then mixed doubles at 2pm. Sunday 10am doubles followed by finals for all events at 2pm. Plate competitions so every entrant gets 2 games at least. Alternate tennis on the grass for adults starting at 14:00. This is planned for the grass courts. Anybody who has a wooden racket, bring it along

SUNDAY JULY 16: Wimbledon Men's Final day at SPLTC

Mini fun tennis challenges for members both junior and adult to have a go at, starting at about 11.30am followed by  BBQ etc and watch Wimbledon Men's Final in the bar. It was great fun!

SUNDAY JULY 2: Club Championships Finals Day Finals of the Mens and Ladies Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Vets events. Barbeque and sunshine* guaranteed! See the pictures and results from previous years.

FRIDAY May 19: Bonkers Bingo Night  7.30pm for 8pm start

GOOD FRIDAY APRIL 7: Nathan's Easter Eggtravaganza £10 9.45am arrival for 10am start. Tennis finishes around 1pm followed by BBQ

Our head coach will provide a fun tennis tournament and chocolate! What more could you want! SOLD OUT but do come and enjoy the BBQ afterwards (from about 1pm). Proceeds go towards new synthetic clay courts.

A Quiz night March 3rd £10 from 7pm for 8pm start
Teams of 4 -6; contact Kevin if you want to be put in a team. An excellent with about 60 people atending.
Last's year event was a great success when we raised money for Ukraine. This year raised £350 for  new synthetic clay courts.

Saturday 1st October  End of summer party, including our new house band who were superb! £5 a ticket.

Race Night

Finals Day (Sunday 26th June 11.30am - 7pm; watch SPLTC championship finals, BBQ and cakes) and Wimbledon Men's Final day event at SPLTC July 10th (exhibition match 12pm approx.; BBQ etc followed by watch Wimbledon Men's Final in the bar;  see report and photos here ) both went well.

Nathan's Eggstravaganza  Easter friday (16th April 2022 9.45am-1pm) £10 entry fee was well attended (30 players) and it was great fun.
