Walking Tennis
Walking tennis is a modified version of traditional tennis designed to accommodate players who prefer or require a slower pace, making the sport more accessible to a wider range of participants, including older adults and those with physical limitations. Walking tennis is often played on a smaller court than standard tennis. This adjustment helps players cover the court more easily without the need for running. A softer, slower-moving ball is typically used. This type of ball is easier to hit and control, promoting longer rallies and more enjoyable play.
We run several Walking Tennis Session a week which take place both indoors and outdoors. Whether you are injured, have a disability, reduced mobility or after another sociable activity, there is something here for everybody!
