CLUB  REGULATIONS 2018

 

COURT REGULATIONS

All court bookings are to be made online using the Clubspark facility. 

Both courts have a choice of 30, 60 or 90 minute sessions.

Members may book up to a maximum of one calendar week in advance. (eg. book on Monday for

 any time the following Monday.)

A member may only make one booking in a day.

No player or member of the same playing group should book either court for two consecutive periods.

 In the interests of all members, please ensure that a booking is cancelled if not required.

Children under the age of 13  must be accompanied by an adult (parent, carer or other designated person)

Please secure the gates while using courts to prevent theft.

The courts and clubhouse must be locked after each use.

 Soft-soled shoes only may be worn on court. Shoes with black soles are not permitted.

During times of damp/wet weather, to prevent the ingress of mud on courts, please wipe your shoes

before entry. Similarly, please do not recover balls from outside the courts until you have finished playing. 

Please remove any practice balls, refreshment containers etc. after play.

Playing tennis can be a risky activity. The Club can accept no liability for injuries or

accidents sustained whilst using our facilities. Please use your own judgement to keep risks

to a minimum.

 

VISITORS

Visitors using the court, will each incur a daily  fee of  £2.00  (including weekends).

Visitors MUST be signed into our Visitors Book in the clubhouse by the accompanying member/s.

Visitor fees will be collected from the accompanying members at year end. Please do not leave cash as payment.

All visitors are subject to the same Rules and Regulations as the accompanying member.

Visitors may only play three times in any one year. This also means that the same visitor is not permitted to be signed in three times by three different members.

Visitors who would like to play more often should be encouraged to apply for Club membership.

 

FLOODLIGHTS

Tokens for the floodlights are available in the Clubhouse. Please sign the checksheet with the number of tokens used and only use the number you require for a session.

Please do not leave cash. Fees for the tokens will be collected through the annual subscription invoices.

 Floodlights must be switched off at 10pm.

 

 CLUBHOUSE

Whilst The Club currently employs a cleaner,  members are expected to ensure the Clubhouse is left reasonably clean and tidy after use.

Please ensure all dishes and utensils are washed and put away and make sure all personal belongings are removed before you leave.

The Club cannot be held responsible for loss or theft of such items.

 

SECURITY

Each member is issued with a personally programmed electronic Key Fob which will open the Court Gate and the Clubhouse door.

A once-off non-refundable deposit of £10.00 is payable by the member for the Fob. which remains the property of the Tennis Club throughout their membership.  Those not renewing their membership are requested to return the Fob for re-assignment to new members.

Replacement for lost Key Fobs are available for an additional  fee current at the time. (£10.00)

An emergency exit/entry gate at the rear of the court is padlocked with the key held in a known location on Court. Please familiarise yourselves with its location and always  return the key to its original location if you need to unlock the gate.

Please report any problems with the electronic entry system to a member of the Committee as soon as possible.
