ADULT COACHING
Peter Gawn Head Coach
Peter Gawn has been the head coach at Slinfold TC for many years. He runs a variety of different sessions during the week for individual members and groups depending on their skill, ability level and experience.
The Mixed Improvers group session runs on a Tuesday morning for non-beginner adults requires a reasonable standard of play in order to practise drills, stroke techniques and match play tactics. Please feel free to contact Peter: gawntennis.com@gmail.com or 07710 677270.
ADULT AND JUNIOR COACHING
Ruby Lane Club Coach
Ruby is an LTA Level 3 development coach. Ruby has been coached by the Nigel Matthews Tennis Coaching Team since the age of 8. In 2020 Nigel gave her her first opportunity to coach other players and she loved the experience of seeing players develop their skills. She then decided to train and get her LTA coaching qualification. Ruby has a lot of coaching experience with minis, juniors and adults at a variety of clubs in the locality.
At Slinfold, she coaches both adults and juniors as individuals or in groups during the day and evenings, tailored to the needs of the players and their current abilities. She is the team coach for Ladies 2.

Ruby Lane offers the full range of red, orange and yellow ball coaching. This is during term time only, Mondays and Wednesdays from under 6 to 18 years.

MTC offers quality tennis coaching right across West Sussex delivering a variety of tennis programmes at various tennis clubs including schools. MTC specialises in three areas: coaching individuals and groups, running locality competitions for Juniors and organising holiday camps in the school holiday periods.
