Another interesting evening run by our members, Jacqui and Simon. We learnt how the present tennis racquet came to be right from the Egyptian era. Also watched some entertaining footage of past tennis champions Little Mo, Jimmy Conners versus Arthur Ash and Bjorn Borg versus John McEnroe. How they played with the early bats! Plus we had a fun time trying out the old racquets.
