About the park

This popular park is a mix of formal parkland with small sections set aside for nature conservation and recreation space. The nature area consists of a woodland walk, pond, cornflower meadow and planted copse areas, which provides an important feature to the park and haven for wildlife.  The park hosts many summer cultural events and through all seasons the residents make full use of the outdoor gym equipment and distance marker route running around the perimeter of the park.

The 2 tarmacadam tennis courts were refurbished and refenced in 2016 and are located close to Villiers High School and the Boyd Avenue and Green drive entrances to the park, in addition to the courts, park facilities include:

  • Multi use games areas adjacent to the tennis courts
  • Playgrounds
  • Play Centre
  • Exercise area with outdoor gym equipment
  • Outdoor gym equipment trail around the park
  • Distance marker route
  • Cricket nets
  • Cricket cage
