At the awards ceremony held on Thursday, 26th October our own Tennis Coordinator, Ann Clark, was invited to make the awards to the various teams. The picture below shows Dawn Dewilde, our Fixtures Secretary and Mixed Team 1 player, with Ann, each holding one of the awards made to the Club.
The Club acquitted itself very handsomely receiving a total of 7 awards, most pleasing of which was being selected to receive the 2023 Colin Manvill Award for Sportsmanship.
There were two additional trophy winners: Men’s Team 1 for coming top of Men’s Division 4 in the Summer Season 2023 and Mixed Team 1 for heading Division 3 in the Winter 2022/23. The latter trophy was collected by Clare Keiditsch who also represented STC at the ceremony.
In addition, the Club received the following certificates for their teams’ achievement as follows:

- Southsea Men’s 1 – Division 3 Runners-up
Summer 2023
- Southsea Ladies – Division 4 Runners-up
- Southsea Men’s 2 – Division 5 Runners-up
- Southsea Mixed 1 – Division 3 Runners-up
