...took place on Sunday, 16th January in near perfect weather conditions – no wind, hazy sunshine and an absence of frost.

16 players took part, using a tried and tested formula based on 4 rounds of tennis, each time with a different partner and, in a number of cases, on different surfaces.

As befits a New Year, two new winners emerged with scores that couldn’t be closer: 20 games for Sue Groves and 21 games for Andrii Zharikov. The winners are pictured with Ann, our Tennis Coordinator, clutching appropriate New Year prizes!
