Some 28 members attended our two New Year’s Day 2024 events. On our right we have 16 players competing in the New Year’s Day Social Tournament:

And on our left 12 players taking part in the New Year’s Day Social Mix-in:

In a word, a great start to 2024 with the weather in full supportive regalia – low wind speed, a dash of sunshine, and not a hint of rain!

In our social tournament the highest scoring ladies were: Christina Georgiou and Helen Shelton, and highest scoring men: Carlos Mato and John Stainer.

As with all these occasions everyone is a winner, if enjoyment and respect for the other are the criteria used. So, congratulations to all concerned and thank you to Ann for getting 2024 underway with her customary flair.
