LTA Awards

At the Portsmouth & District LTA Awards event, held on Thursday, October 24th, STC was represented by two captains, Ann C and Helen N, supported by Linda S, and Ian K representing the men’s team captains who were otherwise engaged.

The recipients of a large number of awards this year were four local clubs:  The Avenue, Rowlands Castle, Warsash and Lee, who hosted the event.

STC achieved success with three awards: 

• Men’s Team 1 received the award for winning Division 4
• Men’s Team 2 received the award for winning Division 5, both of the above in the 2023/24 Winter season
• Men’s Team 2 were also awarded the runners-up certificate for the Summer season 2024

Well done to all team players who played, battled hard on court and represented STC, both at home and away.

Thank you to the STC team captains for volunteering their time to organise the STC league teams and matches which enables STC to successfully participate in the league.
