New to Squash or Racketball? Start Here
New to the game or returning after a break? You’ll fit in straight away. We have a strong mix of abilities across the club, and there are plenty of opportunities to get on court, meet other players, and improve your game in a relaxed environment. The easiest way to get started is to come along to a club session — no need to book, just turn up and play.
Club Sessions
We run regular weekly sessions designed to be social, inclusive, and easy to join. Our main session is Monday Club Night 7:00–10:00pm, which is open to all members and offers a great mix of abilities. During the summer months, we also run an additional Thursday evening session. These are ideal for meeting other players and getting regular games in.
Ladies’ Squash/Racketball
Our ladies’ racketball session is one of the fastest-growing parts of the club. Held on Wednesdays from 7:00–8:00pm, it is beginner-friendly, social, and open to all abilities. Racketball (also known as Squash 57) is easier to pick up than squash and is a great way to get into racket sports in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. New players are always welcome.
Coaching
We are currently developing a structured squash coaching programme led by our club coach, Callum Shaw. Coaching will cater for juniors, beginner and returning adult players, and those looking to improve their game for competitive play. As the programme develops, we aim to introduce regular group sessions and build clear pathways into team squash.
Team Squash
We field multiple teams in local leagues, competing across a range of levels. Whether you're an experienced player or looking to step into competitive squash for the first time, there are opportunities to get involved. Visit our Team Matches page for more information on fixtures and results.
If you're interested in playing team squash, come along to club night or message the Squash Convenor
Club Competitions
We run an annual club squash tournament featuring multiple divisions to suit all standards. From competitive finals to social matches, it’s a highlight of the squash calendar and a great way to get involved in the club.
