What is Racketball?

Racketball, also known as Squash 57, is one of the fastest-growing racket sports in the UK and a fantastic way to get active, social and enjoy time on court. Played on a standard squash court, racketball uses a larger, bouncier ball and a slightly shorter racket, making the game easier to pick up and allowing for longer rallies and more enjoyable match play.

Compared to squash, racketball is generally easier for beginners to learn, as players have more time to reach the ball and develop rallies. This makes it ideal for players new to racket sports, those returning to the game after time away, or anyone looking for a fun and social way to stay fit.

Why Try Racketball?

  • Easier to pick up than traditional squash
  • Longer rallies and more enjoyable match play
  • Great for fitness and cardio
  • Social, friendly and beginner-friendly
  • Suitable for all ages and abilities
  • Played on a standard squash court
