We’re thrilled to share that our recent Crowdfunder campaign raised over £15,000, unlocking an additional £15,000 in match funding from Sport Wales—bringing our total to an incredible £30,000!

Thanks to your generosity, we’ll be transforming our outdated changing facilities into a space our members can truly enjoy.

Work is scheduled to begin during week commencing 8th September, and will take approximately 3–4 weeks. Please note there may be some disruption during this period—we appreciate your patience and support as we make these exciting improvements.

This essential project to modernise the club's changing facilities was prompted by a recent Legionnaires report, which identified key areas for improvement - including the showers, water tank, and pipework. 

But we’re not stopping there - this is our chance to create a fully refreshed space that better serves our members. Key improvements will include:

Gents Changing Room

• Full refurbishment of toilets, urinals, showers, cubicles and flooring
• Hygienic sani-clad wall cladding
• New thermostatic showers, vanity unit, urinals, radiator and flooring
• Installation of IPS systems and extractor fans

Ladies Changing Room

• New sani-clad wall cladding in the shower area
• Upgraded thermostatic showers and vinyl flooring with welded joints
• Refreshed cubicle partitions and doors

Ladies Toilet

• Complete refit with new flooring, sani-clad walls, WC and WHB systems
• New UPVC window

Legionella and Hot Water Safety Works

• Removal of old water tanks and dead legs
• Installation of a new indirect cylinder system with modern safety components
