East Kilbride Tennis Club - Appointment of a new head coach 

The East Kilbride Tennis Club is delighted to announce the appointment of a new head coach, Stephen Bradshaw. Steven has coached at a high level in the UK and Spain. Trained through the Spanish coaching system which has been responsible for developing the likes of Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal. The first Junior Coaching block will start 29th October through to 21st December. There will be opportunities for Adult groups and 121 coaching, details will follow shortly.

Message from Steven 

“It’s nice to be back involved at East Kilbride Tennis Club - where I first started playing tennis. So, thank you for offering me this opportunity.  I’m eager to get involved and work with the players and committee to help develop and grow the club within the community. 
 
A bit about me - I first started playing tennis aged 13 at East Kilbride Tennis club and quickly fell in love with the sport. I started coaching aged 15 and haven’t stopped since taking me all around the world coaching tennis. 
 
I’m also Head coach at Whitecraigs Tennis club and have the following qualifications RPT World Tour Professional Director of Tennis, LTA Level 3 and USPTA Pro Level 4. Whilst I will actively coach at the club, I also aim to establish a workforce of coaches to provide sessions throughout the week at the club and within the local community.

I look forward to getting started and meeting the members.”
