On Sunday 30th June, we have 39 walkers of all ages, embarking on a sponsored walk in memory of Nick Jones and Terry Groom, who did so much to establish and maintain our two tarmac courts.
The money we raise, will be shared equally between Macmillan Cancer Support and our fund to resurface our two courts with the latest tiger turf surface.
We have walks from 5-20 miles, which we hope will finish ahead of a BBQ and drinks at 5pm to celebrate the walkers' achievements and raise a glass to our friends Nick and Terry. We are delighted that members of the Jones and Groom families are participating on the walk and will be at the BBQ.
