Junior Coaching
Blue Stage (Tots)—Ages 2–5
Through fun games, kids develop balance, agility, and coordination while learning the basics of tennis. At this stage, it’s all about enjoying the sport, with no focus on winning or losing.
Red Stage: Ages 5–8
Children begin practicing overarm serves, volleys, and rallies while improving their coordination, balance, speed, and agility. Using soft balls and smaller courts, they are introduced to relaxed competition in a fun and supportive environment.
Orange Stage: Ages 8–10
This stage goes beyond one-shot wonders. Players start learning tactics, problem-solving, and sportsmanship while being guided in leadership skills. By the end of this stage, they’ll understand the rules and be confident in serving and returning.
Green Stage: Ages 10–12
It’s time to transition to full-size courts. This stage focuses on refining techniques and growing their game. Players will develop the independence needed to manage their game on court effectively.
