The grant application has been submitted and acknowledged for the refurbishment of 7,8,9. All other finances required are aligned and we have letters of support from Tennis Wales. The contractors are ready and waiting. We now await a decision from Sport Wales.

Thanks to all club members for your patience with the ongoing congestion on court bookings with Summer league matches adding to our full schedule of activities.

We will get the floodlights assessed this week with the aim to repair the fault on the warning lights by September as a minimum, also considering the conversion to LED lighting that has been planned for the last few years.

We will report the recommendations to board and members then will progress phase 2 of the planned tennis refurbishment (LED lighting and adding artificial clay surface) in accordance with the clubs maintenance schedule.

Thanks to all members who have indicated the desire to help and a survey (compiled by Gareth Harlow) on options on how to support the club will be circulated separately once agreed by the board.

Teams continue to progress. Thanks to everyone who has represented the club.

The leagues come to a critical point with key promotion/relegation battles looming. Good luck everyone! All support welcome - again thanks to all players for making the commitment to compete for the club.Fantastic performance from our tennis teams with mens section not conceding a single match this season. Congratulations.

A full round up of the summer leagues will be given once concluded.    Ellinore

Thank you to Bernie and Andrew who continue to raise cash and contribute to our recycling efforts

Just a reminder that we recycle the tennis balls. That they need to dry, not heavily stained, frayed, ripped or marked or too fluffy.

They accept marker pen initials, most makes of standard tennis balls. And  green dot low pressure balls but not multicoloured red/yellow balls.

Collection boxes are under the balcony.
