Welcome to Tavistock Tennis Club
Tavistock Tennis Club is a friendly, family oriented club welcoming players of all ages and abilities. Tennis is a great way to maintain fitness, health and friendships throughout life: our eldest club members are in their eighties, the youngest four years old. The club is situated parallel to Plymouth Road, and comprises eight well maintained courts, four artificial grass and four hard courts with a Clubhouse and associated facilities on site. The courts are open all-year round, with floodlights for use on darker evenings. We have well attended social sessions throughout the year, no need to have a partner, just come along to any of the sessions and have a game of social doubles. Beginners are especially welcome at the club, though our coaching offering is currently being reviewed. For those interested in playing more competitive tennis we run league matches and group practice sessions.

Membership
Membership costs are kept as low as possible.
We only offer one level of tennis membership (full access to all facilities) but the fee varies depending on age. If you are interested in taking up tennis, or giving your children the opportunity to learn and play the sport; Check out our membership page .

Non Members
Pay and Play is available for non-members. Please go to our Booking page and click on Courts 1 or 2.
Please note floodlights are not available for Pay and Play. The latest booking should be no later than one hour before sunset.
Top Tips for registering and booking courts
Do
- If when joining Tavistock Tennis Club, you receive an email with the title ‘Invitation to Join Clubspark’ you should register using the link provided. {If you have already registered on our Clubspark website by joining on line, then always use that method to sign in again in the future.}
- Sign in using your email and create a password. This is a specific link to Tavistock Tennis Club and is only relevant to our club {if you belong to another club and have a Clubspark account with that club, you need to have a different password for each one}
- Once you have successfully signed in, log out again.
- Then test that you can sign in again to our website.
- Once you have signed back in successfully, choose the Court Booking tab to see if you can book a court at Tavistock. You should find that available courts are ready (i.e. not padlocked).
- Suggest that you download Clubspark ‘Booker’ app on a device e.g. smart phone, tablet or pc. Sign into Clubspark at Tavistock and don’t sign out again. That way you can just click on and it takes you straight to booking.
- Please do cancel courts as soon as you know you are not going to be able to use them as this frees up for other club members to book.
Don’t
- Once you have created a sign in using your email and a password, do not be tempted, if you forget the password, to log in using another method e.g. LTA sign in, Facebook or gmail. If you do this, the system will create a 2nd contact for you, it will get confused and block you from being able to book courts, coaching sessions etc.
