Active Parks
We are working in collaboration with Birmingham City Council to encourage more of Birmingham’s local communities to get active by joining in at free Active Parks tennis sessions as part of Coke Zero’s Park Lives campaign. The scheme has been established to encourage local families to try activities including fun, informal tennis together, in a familiar park or playground setting. No experience is needed & all equipment is provided - you don’t even need a proper tennis court to enjoy the benefits of playing tennis. So come on over and have a go!
The tennis sessions currently run in the following parks:
- Brookvale Park tennis courts, Erdington every Saturday 12pm –1pm
- Calthorpe Park play area, Balsall Heath every Sunday 2pm – 4pm
- Handsworth Park play area every Sunday 1.30pm – 3.30pm
- Ward End Park tennis courts every Saturday 11am-12pm
