Frequently Asked Questions

• What is my LTA age-group?: Junior competition age groups are based on your Year of Birth, and you can find yours HERE.
• How do I find and enter open events?: Visit the LTA Competition Search - filter your age group, grade of tournaments you are seeking and distance willing to travel. Then enter online! 
• What Grade should I play?: Grades run from 7 to 1 and you can find descriptions HERE. Seek advice from your coach when starting out. 
• Do I enter as the Parent or Child? This is the confusing part! To use ClubSpark and buy club memberships, book courts and coaching sessions, the account must be in the name of the parent, and the child added as a family member within it. To use the LTA Competitions site and book junior tournaments, a separate account should be created in the name of the child (with a different email address). 
• I've entered, what next? Once the entry and withdrawal deadline have passed, details will be sent to the email address linked to the players account.
