Welcome to the North Wales tennis website, where we provide all the latest information & news on what's happening in the tennis community across the North of Wales.
Our organisation, fully affiliated to Tennis Wales in supporting the growth of the game, is focused on a number of areas;
- Running tennis leagues for adults & junior teams
- Managing inter-county fixtures & events against teams from across the UK
- Facilitating County training for junior & senior competitors
- Helping promote clubs & coaching programmes locally
Our tennis network in the area contains tennis clubs, coaches, commercial facilities and over 5,000 players and our aim is to grow the game for as many people as possible.
North Wales Fun Senior Tennis Tournament at Ruthin on Saturday 7th September 2024.
North Wales Tennis launched their first Fun Seniors Double Tournament at Ruthin which was a very successful tournament dayto hold another event shortly with the date to be announced, with various Clubs entering, and a fun day had by all.
We are looking to hold another event shortly and detail will be announced. We would encourage anyone who hasn't entered to date - to enter the next competition day. If you don't have a partner - that is not a problem , we can pair you up with somebody nearer the time.
After this, North Wales Tennis are planning a series of similar events and dates, possibly opening it up to wider age groups. More information on this to follow.
Many thanks to Tcherina, Gill and Linda , from North Wales Tennis Committee for the organising of this event, and to Ruthin TC whose courts we used. Thank you also to Vicky Broadbent who organised and refereed the event all day, in addition to presenting the prizes!
