IOM Tennis Leagues and News
The IOM Tennis Leagues got underway this week with Albany, Castletown, Douglas, Port Erin and Ramsey completing in three Mens Divisions and Castletown, Douglas, Port Erin and Ramsey competing in one Ladies Division. The leagues run with teams playing matches every week until the beginning of July.
The matches consist of six doubles sets where in the first two sets the 1st pair take on the 2nd pair of their opponents for one set. Then the 1st pair from each team play two sets against their opponents 1st pair and likewise the 2nd pairs also play two sets against each other.

The Mens and Ladies Leagues are scheduled to finish at the beginning of July.
Other upcoming Tennis events on the island in this period:
- UK Tour Fast 4 one day tournament for Men and Ladies Singles on the 18 and 19th of May at Douglas Lawn Tennis Club. This is a Grade 3 Tournament with a limited 16 player draw when players play 4 short matches in the day.
- IOM Junior Series one day Tournament scheduled for 7th June at Douglas Lawn Tennis Club
- UK Tour Fast 4 Mens and Ladies Doubles one day tournament on 29th and 30th June also being played at Douglas Lawn Tennis Club.
