Court Booking Rules & Terms of Use
Court booking rules
- Appropriate sports clothing and non-marking footwear to be worn
- Use bins provided for litter
- No bikes, scooters or roller-skates
- No eating on the tennis courts
- No smoking, open flames or flammable liquids
- No Dogs
- No chewing gum
Terms of Use
- All bookings for the hire of any of the Council’s Tennis Courts must be made via www.clubspark.com at least 1 hour prior to a booking taking place.
Hirers will receive booking confirmations and access codes via email.
The Courts are open: -
08:00 – 17:00 – (Winter Months)
08:00 – 21:00 – (Summer Months)
- If a Court is no longer required, then the hirer must cancel 24 hours prior to the booking taking place. If weather conditions prevent play, then cancellations will be accepted at short notice.
- Should the Council decide that, in their opinion, the facility is not playable, it may be necessary to cancel games at short notice. Hirer’s will therefore be contacted by email in the event of such cancellations.
- Test Valley Borough Council reserves the right to close the courts at their discretion for any court maintenance.
- Test Valley Borough Council reserves the right to amend the booking times and number of bookings permitted.
- It is the responsibility of the Hirer to be aware that playing public tennis is done so at users own risk, and that common sense is to be applied while using the facility.
For example: - - Wearing appropriate sports clothing and non-marking footwear on the court.
- Keeping hydrated.
- Reporting any damage/issues to Test Valley Borough Council by ringing 01264 368000 or emailing community&leisure@testvalley.gov.uk
- No charge shall be made by the Hirer, for admission to any event/coaching session unless the Council’s prior consent has been given.
- The Council accepts no liability for damage to, or loss of, any property, left on the Court by any person using the facility independently or as part of a Group / Club.
- The Hirer shall keep the venue clean and tidy and shall ensure that all litter is removed from the site.
- The Hirer shall adhere to the Rules for using the tennis courts as displayed and detailed at each site.
- The Hirer shall follow any guidance stipulated by their governing bodies and any guidance provided by the Council.
Declaration
By hiring a tennis court, you are agreeing on behalf of yourself and your party to the terms and conditions of hire as set out above and that you have read the Privacy Notice below.
Please note that any breach of these terms and conditions may result in the cancellation of bookings and the Council refusing to accept bookings from the Hirer in the future.
