Program Director/Head Coach

Heading up the program at the Training Base is former ATP ranked professional and experienced performance coach, Barry Fulcher.

As a player, Barry achieved an ATP ranking of 680 (GB No 13), and continues to compete to a high level, reaching a World ranking high of No 2 in the 35+ age group two years ago. Barry currently captains the Great Britain team at this age group, and has led the team to a number of successful World Championship campaigns in recent years.

Barry has over 16 years coaching experience, working at private clubs, high performance academies across the UK, and managing programs at all levels of the game. Barry has worked and travelled extensively with teams of players, and international level junior and pro players.

Currently, Barry captains the Sussex 18U Boys team, leading them to a recent promotion to the premier tier of County tennis. Over the past ten years, Barry has worked with many of Sussex's emerging players, through their teenage years into college, and into the pro game.
