The questions below provide information and guidance for members and individuals thinking about joining the club.
How much does it cost to join the club? See the table below. If you are a new member discounted membership fees are available in your first year of membership.

Additionally, there is a 20% discount available for Family Membership, which includes two adults and one or more juniors residing at the same address.
If you are undecided about joining for the entire year you might want to consider our 3-month Trial Membership. This provides membership for everyone in your household for just £50.
When does the membership year start and are there any reductions if I join part way through the year? Yes, there are reductions available it you join part way through the year. The membership year commences on 1st April and finishes at the end of March. Should you join part way through the membership year, a pro-rata membership fee is available. Detailed information on the pro-rata fees can be found on the membership application form.
Can I pay my subs monthly? Yes, you can spread the cost of the adult annual membership fee over 12 monthly payments. However, this option does not include the first year’s discount for new members. The monthly fee is £27 and is due in advance on the first of each month.
Are there any additional costs after I have joined? The only additional cost is for the use of floodlights which is £4 for 30 minutes.
When can I use the courts? Members have access to the courts without any charge at any time.
How do I get access to the courts? Courts can be booked online through the club's website. Bookings can be made up to 13 days in advance. All members receive the security code for accessing the courts, changing rooms, and ball cupboard. These areas are secured with combination locks.
Can I play for one of the club teams? Yes, we have 13 teams participating in the Middlesex summer and winter leagues. To arrange a trial, please speak with the team captains. Their contact details are available on our website.
How can I get some Tennis Coaching? There are regular adult and junior group coaching sessions available at the weekend. See www.thistleworth.net for the latest coaching news.
Is there a social side to the club? Yes, we host regular social events including dinners, BBQs, quiz nights, and tennis tournaments. Visit www.thistleworth.net for a full list.
How do I get to know other members? There is a club WhatsApp group with approximately 200 members, this can be used for finding partners and arranging matches. Additionally, there are mix-in sessions on weekends. The coaching programme also provides opportunities to meet players of similar age and ability.
What are the opening times of the bar? The bar is open Monday to Friday from 6pm to 10pm in the winter and 7pm to 11pm in the summer.
What other benefits are there with club membership? The club supplies new tennis balls each week. Members receive a discount on hall hire charges, and bar prices are lower compared to local pubs.
