A Timeless Haven for Tennis Lovers Since 1881

Established in 1881 Todmorden Lawn Tennis Club is one  of the oldest tennis clubs in England.

Nestled in the heart of Todmorden, our club is more than just a place to hit some balls – it's a vibrant community of tennis enthusiasts united by our love for the game.

Tennis for all ages & levels in a fantastic setting

As a fully constituted and LTA-affiliated club, we're committed to providing top-notch facilities and a welcoming atmosphere for players of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just picking up a racket for the first time, you'll find a friendly and sociable environment here to hone your skills and make new friends.

But we're not just about the game – we're about building connections and giving back to our community. As proud members of the Calderdale Community Tennis Partnership, we actively promote tennis among young people and work alongside other local clubs to grow the sport we love.

Supported by the generous contributions of the Community Foundation For Calderdale and the Calderdale Council, we're able to continue our mission of making tennis accessible to all.

Join us at Todmorden Lawn Tennis Club and discover the joy of tennis in a welcoming and supportive environment. Whether you're looking to improve your game, stay active, or simply have fun, you'll find your home here on our courts.
