The Stuart Neathey Memorial Tournament was held on Bank holiday Monday, there were 8 pairs, the pairings were drawn. The non-league men had a 15 love advantage for every game, however, if they won 2 consecutive games, they would lose that advantage for the following game.

4 men were only allowed 1 serve against these men.

There were 7 rounds, with pairs playing each pair..A set consisted of 4 games, after which the Women switched partners and played a further 4 game.  Points were awarded individually for the games won. So each set had an individual maximum of 8 Pts

From Round 3 Elijah (partner Jill) & Sarah (partner Adam) were ahead 

In 2nd place was Frank (partner Jane) & Jill (partner Elijah).  It continued like this for Sarah & Elijah through all rounds and so they became Finalists.

Frank & Jill  were still holding 2nd place. Then on the completion of the final round. Sam (partner Suzy) gained 7 Pts and overtook Frank, so Sam was through to the Final. Then Suzy (partner Sam) and Jane (partner Frank) gained points to level with Jill. A count back occurred and Jill was eliminated. Jane & Suzy then played singles and they agreed that the winner would be first player to reach 8 pts, A compelling match to watch changing ends at 4,8,& 12. getting to 6 all with Suzy taking the honours  into the Final with Sarah, Elijah and Sam.

Final Result 5 Pts Sarah & Elijah- 3 Pts for Suzy and Sam.
