Student Workforce Programme

Volunteers and coaches play a vital role in sport. Volunteering is one of the best ways to develop your professional skills, gain experience and enhance your CV. There is no better time to do it than at University and many employers take volunteering into consideration when they recruit.

What are we looking for:

  • Help to deliver the tennis programme on court supporting existing coaches
  • More trained coaches to deliver the University tennis programme
  • More competitions and people trained to deliver them
  • Events to bring new people to tennis run as part of the tennis programme
  • Raised profile of tennis across the University, Scotland and UK. Photos, video, social media, web content etc
  • Students equipped to deliver tennis activity on leaving University

We offer a number of opportunities for you to engage with tennis, either accessing specific training courses or becoming a Tennis Intern. The programme is planned to suit your needs and tailored to the time you have available.
