Introduction

We're a community focussed tennis club which offers people in and around the village of Uplawmoor the opportunity to have fun playing tennis.

If you'd like to give tennis a try or are thinking about joining a friendly club we'd love to hear from you or perhaps see you down at the courts. We have social sessions every Monday and Thursday from 5pm and Sundays at 2pm and we can be found in the village playing fields behind the Mure Hall.

If you're just visiting, you're welcome to play on any of our 3 courts using the 'pay-per-play' honesty box system.

Safeguarding & Welfare

Uplawmoor Tennis Club is committed to safeguarding the children, young people and adults-at-risk at our club. All are entitled to play tennis free from harm in a safe, positive and enjoyable environment.  Whether you are a player, coach, parent, staff member or volunteer, safeguarding is the responsibility of everyone.

Our Safeguarding Policy sets out our commitment to safeguarding and the key principles that we follow.

We work with Tennis Scotland and the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) to comply with the British Tennis safeguarding guidelines and policies  including the Safeguarding at events, activities and competitions policy (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FkG-KRN72g1dPDT9uyud3sp8IwXv3ATk/view) which was adopted in November 2022.
