Jack and Dave take our green classes which run outside on Saturday mornings throughout the year, come rain or shine. These sessions are in groups sorted by age and ability with the aim being to go into junior team tennis and eventually senior team tennis.

10.30 - 11.30 - Years 7-9:

This session is run by Jack and is a great way for players to make friends at new schools whilst having fun and getting outside. Playing on the full courts for the first time means that movement and direction on shots becomes more crucial. Jack creates a fun but competitive environment whilst growing the skills of the players both physically and mentally. 

11.30 - 12.30 - Years 10-13:

This session is run by Dave and is the final stage of a players progression before joining adult sessions. These sessions are very much focussed on matchplay whilst still keeping the element of fun involved. Dave is a very experienced coach and excels at getting the best out of his players, with many going on to play in the teams at Urmston. There are also Junior teams at this level who play friendly matches and some competitive matches around local clubs which is invaluable experience when progressing to later stages of there tennis.
