Owen began his tennis journey at the age of 16 after developing a love for the sport, having previously spent many years playing football. He has since become a strong competitive player and currently represents Epsom Lawn Tennis Club’s 1st Team. Owen studied Sports Management at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, where he competed for the university tennis team for three years before going on to support the programme as a coach after graduating.

Owen’s passion for tennis is clear in his coaching, where he enjoys helping players progress and develop a genuine love for the game. He completed his LTA Level 1 and Level 2 coaching qualifications while playing at Epsom LTC and has experience coaching players of all ages, from children as young as 2½ through to adults, delivering both group sessions and individual lessons. Owen has also coached abroad at holiday resorts in Rhodes and Paleros, Greece, gaining valuable experience in different coaching environments.
