Social Tennis and Charity Doubles Tournament 10th/11th May

The Doubles Tournament in aid of the fantastic RD&E was very well attended, with the overall victor being Chris who is pictured below! Thank you to all those who made it a lovely afternoon/evening at VP!

Our Social Tennis welcome to new members was also very enjoyable, all in all a fun and sociable weekend at Victoria Park. Keep an eye out for more events as the Spring/Summer unfolds.

Junior Road to Wimbledon

Head Coach Jon Rycroft will be holding the Victoria Park Junior Road to Wimbledon event on Saturday May 24th at 4pm.

Players must be 14 or under on the day of the event (born between 2011 - 2014).  Open to members ONLY. £8 to enter. 

This is a FUN singles event for boys and girls of all levels. As long as you can serve and rally you can join in.

However, if your child wins the event and goes through to the South West Finals, then they do have to obtain an LTA rating which just means playing one local sanctioned event.

Charity Doubles Tournament 11th May

A reminder that there will be a charity tennis doubles tournament at VP in aid of the RD&E at 4pm on Sunday 11th May. 

This will be a fun event where everyone plays with several different partners and the game scores are added up.

Adults and older children of all abilities welcome. Open to members and non-members. Entry is £10 - with 100% of the entry fee going to the cardio department at the hospital.
