There are a number of ways in which you can become a member of Wakefield Tennis Club...

The best way is to come to the club on one of our social sessions Saturday 12.30PM or Tuesday 5.30PM.  We offer a one month free trial to new members. Discounts for new members operate in your first year of membership.

You can send an email to info@wakefieldtennisclub.co.uk and one of our committee members will get back to you.

If you're fairly new to the sport of tennis, or are returning after a break, and you'd like some lessons to help your confidence and improve your game, we can provide access to local tennis coaches.

Membership types

We have several options of membership to cater for as wide a number people as possible. To sign up, please click on the correct membership options below and follow the instructions. If you're an LTA registered member then you just need to sign in using your details. If you're not a member then you are able to sign up for free. Just click on the correct membership below and follow the instructions to create a new account.

New members

If you're a new member joining part way through the season we offer discounted rates depending on how much of the year has elapsed.  Check the membership for new member's rates.

Once you have joined, you may use the courts any day after 5:30 pm, Saturday afternoons and all day Sunday.

Adult membership entitles you to come to the club and play tennis on any spare courts that are available. If club tournament matches, match practice or social tennis are officially taking place these take priority on the courts. With the adult membership you can also play for club teams and take part in the club's annual tournaments. 

Making membership payments

Payments are made directly into the club's bank account. The club's bank details are on the membership forms below.  Our preferred payment method is via online payment. Please remember to quote your name as the payment reference so that we can see it is you that has signed up!

Access

Saturday 12.30 pm until 6.00 pm

Sundays from 10.00 am until 6.00 pm

Weekdays from 5.30 pm until 9.30 pm (when light allows)
