Comments from the  Wiltshire LTA  judging panel for Club of the Year 2019:

This 4 court rural club has had a fantastic year.

They have had a number of new volunteers join their committee who have had a tremendous impact on the club and are always ready to get involved in all aspects of the working of the club.

This club offer a quality all year round coaching programme and has fantastic links with the local community and primary school.

They held a successful Nature Valley Big Tennis Weekend and have introduced a number of new sessions on the programme including a successful ‘Rusty Rackets’ session.

The club regularly run tournaments and Team Challenges with other local clubs and a number of juniors have now progressed into the County Training programme.

The club have recently implemented an online court booking system which has allowed their members to easily book courts and their usage of courts for casual play has seen a great increase.

This village club is a welcoming, progressive club that caters for all ages, backgrounds and abilities.  They offer first class facilities and provide quality tennis opportunities and richly deserve this award.
