Tennis Coaches

Head Coach: Wayne Scott

Wayne has well over 20 years’ coaching experience and is a Level 3 LTA Accredited+ Professional Tennis Coach.

Wayne provides Individual lessons and leads the Group sessions and Holiday Camps.

Assistant Coach: Joe Bates

Joe is an LTA Level 2 Accredited Tennis Coach.

Joe provides hitting sessions, individual coaching and assists Wayne with Adult Group Sessions.

He is currently (September 2024) undergoing his LTA Level 3 training

Tennis Instructor: Lisa Hawkins

Lisa is an LTA Level 2 Accredited Tennis Coach.

Lisa does individual coaching and assists Wayne with Junior Group Sessions and Holiday Camps.

Padel Coach

Padel Instructor: Steve Riley

We are delighted to have added Steve Riley, the founder of Padel Project UK (Padel centre in Lowther Gardens, Lytham) an LTA Level 2 Accredited Padel Instructor, to the existing coaching team at Broughton & District Club. 

Steve will also continue giving lessons at Lytham and can be contacted on 07957 110403 to arrange lessons there.

Steve has vast experience in Padel and we are delighted he has agreed to become a member of our team.

Additonally all our Tennis Coaches - Wayne, Joe and Lisa - have attended the LTA Introduction to Padel Course and will be working to support Steve in delivering Padel coaching at Broughton Padel.
