Wombourne Cricket Tennis And Bowls Club

Wombourne Tennis Club is a section of the Wombourne Cricket, Tennis & Bowls Club situated on the green in the centre of the village. The tennis section has existed for over 50 years, ever since the grounds were donated to the club for the playing of sport and boasts an ever growing number of members.

The main clubhouse is used by the Tennis, Cricket and Bowls clubs, and is host to a number of events throughout the year, such as cabarets, quizzes and dances. Our section is organised by a committee who are elected each year at our annual general meeting. Committee meetings are held regularly and all members are welcome to attend.

We enter a number of Men's, Ladies and Mixed competitive teams into the Staffordshire Inter Tennis League, Hereford & Worcester Winter League, and the Kidderminster League. Throughout the year, the tennis section hosts a large number of tournaments, socials and events which all members are encouraged to join. Juniors tennis and coaching sessions for a variety of ages are also available.
