It’s seems like yesterday when Sue Osborne and Mary Broughton set out to launch a tennis club on the two under-used courts at Worplesdon Memorial Hall in 1991. So this year Worplesdon Tennis Club celebrated its 25th anniversary with a Birthday Dinner at The Farmhouse Restaurant.

While bubbles flowed, the guests could travel back in time to the memorable 1991 guessing the answers about the 90s hits, sports personalities or political figures during the “Anniversary” quiz.

Most importantly, the dinner was a great occasion for all members to get together, meet their fellow players outside of the tennis court and also appreciate how much the club has grown over the years.

Thank you to Sue for a great organization and to Mary for the scrumptious cake and all those who helped to make this celebration happen.
