Glyn Pridding has been the president of Wrexham Lawn Tennis Club for many years now. He first played at the club and Tennis Centre when the club had moved from Garden village in 1990. Glyn was used to visiting this area as he had played on the football pitches at Ashfield on many ocassions as a young lad. Glyn is married with two daughters. He met his wife Betty when a friend he was working with invited him on a cheap holiday in Malta. Bettty was the friend's cousin. When Glyn returned to Wrexham he and Betty wrote to each other and were soon married. Glyn says, 'cheap holiday indeed! It's cost me a fortune ever since!'  Glyn now plays about three times a week with adult social and Derek's group, preferring the indoors but can be seen on WLTC clubnights in the summer. He is vey supportive of the committee and committed to the continued development of the club
