Tennis Leaders, the LTA’s Youth Leadership Programme, has been re-launched to open up the programme to even more young people.

Delivered by LTA Accredited Coaches it is designed to develop young people’s leadership skills, that can be applied across roles within tennis, sport or more widely into other aspects of life.

To become known as a tennis leader, participants must complete the Introduction to Tennis module, plus one additional module.

Modules include:

• helping at a venue
• helping in a coaching session
• helping at a school
• helping in a competition

To embed their learning, tennis leaders will have opportunities to get involved and volunteer at a local tennis venue by supporting a qualified coach, tennis officials in a ‘tennis leader’ role.

Further online learning can be accessed upon completion of the course.
