All members of our club have access to the following activities. We hope there is something here for everyone but we are open to suggestions!
Club Night and Weekend Club Session - Come along to join in and play friendly but competitive doubles with a range of players. Turn up and sign in on the night to mix and improve your play in a game situation.
Every Tuesday 8-10pm on the indoor courts (3 courts available) and every Sunday 10am-12noon (2 courts available).
Box Leagues - Mens Box Leagues run through the Autumn and Winter months on some Friday evenings . These consist of two hours of competitive tennis with results recorded. Will you go up or down a box at the end of the night?!
Ladies Group Tennis runs on the first Monday of the month throughout the year (except August). Consisting of 2 hours of competitive play in a friendly atmosphere.
Avon Leagues - We enter teams in the Summer Leagues (Mens and Womens), Late Summer Leagues (Mixed and Men's and Ladies Vets) and Winter Leagues (Mixed). These combined offer the opportunities for Mens, Ladies, Mixed, and Mens and Ladies Vets tennis!
The Summer League of 2020 (starts on May 1st) will see 5 men's teams and 4 ladies' teams entered. All members are invited to come and play in a team suited to their ability.
All members will be contacted by the relevant coordinator to ask if they are interested in playing league. If you would like to find out more however or talk to a coordinator please see contact details within the Tennis Centre.

Squad Nights - Practice nights for Men and Ladies league players. Opportunities to practice match tactics, improve your doubles play and perhaps find your tennis partner! - see calendar page
Closed Club Championships -This takes place in September. Our annual Championships with singles and doubles competitions for men, ladies, mixed pairings and mixed vets pairs culminates in our finals day and club social, held on the last weekend of September or first weekend in October.
Social Events - Fun evenings of social tennis to mark occasions such as Christmas, Halloween, Australian Open etc. Generally include the wearing of a silly hat or shirt colour, sometimes food and drink and not taking your tennis too seriously. And occasionally some events without tennis!
Free British Tennis Membership (BTM) and Wimbledon Ballot entry - All club members are eligible for free British Tennis Membership. With a BTM club members can also opt-in via the LTA to take place in the annual club ballot for Wimbledon Tickets.
