PLEASE NOTE - From the 1st August 2024, the operation of the tennis courts will be transferring from Somesret Council to Yeovil Town Council. Yeovil Town Council will be given administrative responsibility of the booking system and will become responsible for your data. You can view their Privacy Notice on their website.
PLEASE NOTE – you must type in the * (Asterix) before the numbers in the code for the gate. The code will not work otherwise. The gate will only open at the time of booking so please do not attempt to access the court at times other than your booking time. Your code cannot be used more than 10 minutes before or more than 10 minutes after your pre booked slot.

To get your tennis fix then we have the idea place at Yeovil recreation centres tennis courts!
These newly refurbished courts are now open to the public after significant investment from Somerset Council and the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA). The tennis courts are located at the bottom of the main yeovil recreation centre site next to the foot path leading direct from Yeovil college on Mudford road, secluded away for the busy main area of site perfect for a game of tennis, but ideally located in the centre of Yeovil and a short walk from the main site's pavilion, play area and cafe.
Somerset Council and the LTA have worked in partnership to bring these courts back to a good standard. Both courts at Yeovil recreation centre are equipped with new tarmac surfaces, plus an online booking and gate access control has been introduced to help make it really easy to get on court and play!
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player you'll find these courts to be a great place to improve. You can play here for as little as £6 per hour for pay and play or you can take up our fantastic offer for household membership to play for 12 months at only £36 entitling you to 4 hours of tennis per week..
