Thanks to the LTA, Government and Amber Valley Borough Council funding we have been able to upgrade the tennis facilities at Alfreton Welfare Recreation Ground.

The newly renovated tennis courts at Alfreton Welfare Recreation Ground are now open for booking via the new online booking system.

The courts have had a new surface, as well as new nets, posts and line markings.

In addition, we're excited to bring to you brand new gate access technology and an online booking system to improve your user experience for anyone who wants to play.  Book a court today!

The court surface will also be  colour coated in the coming weeks and will require a short closure period.

Each court will cost £5 per hour to book, £7.50 per court per hour when floodlights are used or free with a £35 annual season ticket. Visit the ‘Book a Court’ and ‘Annual Pass’ pages for more information.

The tennis courts are ideally situated within the centre of the Park, close to the park's other facilities, which includes: a skate park, play area, trim trail, outdoor fitness equipment, basketball area, playing fields, bowls green and changing rooms.
